Hairdressers don't read??? |

There I was telling my hairdresser friends about the Hairdressing book that your site recommended and I got, when they all just stared at me as if I was mad to read it. None of them had read a book in years. They just buy magazines and read the bubbles next to the pictures. I phoned the local hairdressing Tafe and asked the head of the department if she had seen or heard of the book for I found it incredibly inspirational. She told me that it would be pointless having it in the school for Hairdressers don't read. They just like looking at the pictures. No pictures, not interested. How sad is that?? is such an opinion about hairdressers a general thing? I've been a hairdresser for many years and I love to read, Especially books that can help me in my business.
Unfortunately in the majority, it is the artistic people rather than the academic that turn to hairdressing. Even on this site. Not too many write in although thousands visit. Glad you found the book a help to increase your trade.
